About Us

Welcome to the Jewish Community Center of the Mohawk Valley. The JCC has been providing educational, athletic, artistic, cultural programs and services to those of us living in the Mohawk Valley since 1933. We have been working out of our current location at 2310 Oneida St. since 1973. The JCC takes great pride in providing our programming to persons of all races, religions, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.

The JCC provides a vast variety of programming and services distributed over virtually every age group. Youth programs start for children as young as two year old. This includes Utica’s finest preschool, pee-wee sports, as well as beginning level music lessons and tutoring. Music, sports and tutoring programs continue for children throughout their teenage years. Young adults and parents can enjoy fitness programs such as aerobic classes, Yoga classes, basketball and personal training. They can also come see current movies, noted speakers, and/or take part in adult education classes.
Seniors can take exercise classes or join us for an afternoon of Mah Jongg or Bridge.

The JCC also hosts special events, many of which are in conjunction with other local non-profits or one of the many surrounding
colleges and universities in our area. Recent programs have included health fairs, movies related to important issues such as
1) how to best educate our children and 2) saving our environment, as well as political forums and speakers.

The Jewish Community Center of the Mohawk Valley has a little something
for everyone. Whether you would like a place to socialize with some friends,
learn a new hobby, or burn off a few extra calories, the JCC has it all!
